About Alpha & Omega Group
stablished in 1998, Alpha & Omega Group is an NCDOT-registered small professional service firm (SPSF), grounded in six core values: relationships, trust, teamwork, servant attitudes, stewardship, and excellence. Alpha & Omega Group’s foundation is in civil-site design, structural design, and water resources engineering, and has performed these services for federal, state, county, and municipal entities. Our staff is knowledgeable and experienced in the review and approval processes of local, state, and federal agencies.
Our civil services include grading, staking, erosion control, site drainage and site utilities, project specifications, cost estimates, construction administration and final plan review. We have designed sidewalks, roadways, and concrete repairs.
Structural services include inspection, design, and repair of pedestrian and highway bridges, historical preservation, retrofits and repairs of buildings and other structures. We have performed NCDOT and municipal bridge inspections since 2000.
Our water resources engineering work includes emergency action plans; watershed modeling; storm routing; siphon design, dam inspection and repair; bridge survey reports; culvert survey reports; scour analysis; roadway drainage; Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) mapped sites including memorandum of agreement (MOA) and conditional letter of map revision (CLOMR) approvals; and development of dam breach inundation maps.
Our tagline, "Begin with the End in mind," comes from Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. We strive to understand what the end goal or outcome is in each project we undertake. More importantly, A&O operates with an eternal perspective, knowing that things of this world will perish and fade away - but those things of eternal worth will be crowning jewels forever.
"We feel that, given our 'team' relationship, we can call upon Alpha & Omega Group at any time."
